Throughout 2022, he remained occupied with various musical activities such as playing bass in an orchestra, participating in a theater production, and performing on the piano for concerts and contests. Notably, he emerged victorious in the Junior Division Old-Time Piano Playing Contest, where he played "Maybe" by George Gershwin and "Smashing Thirds" by Fats Waller with an encore of "Let Yourself Go" by Irving Berlin.

In the play "Crazy for You" at Community Christian School in Tallahassee Florida during Fall/Winter 2022, John demonstrated his versatility by acting, singing, dancing, and playing the Bass.
