2022

Throughout 2022, he remained occupied with various musical activities such as playing bass in an orchestra, participating in a theater production, and performing on the piano for concerts and contests. Notably, he emerged victorious in the Junior Division Old-Time Piano Playing Contest, where he played "Maybe" by George Gershwin and "Smashing Thirds" by Fats Waller with an encore of "Let Yourself Go" by Irving Berlin.

Actor/Musician

In the play "Crazy for You" at Community Christian School in Tallahassee Florida during Fall/Winter 2022, John demonstrated his versatility by acting, singing, dancing, and playing the Bass.

World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest Junior Division

The Junior Division is for contestants who are 17 years of age or under on the day of competition.  John was 15 in 2022 when he won first place.
