MY OTHER INTERESTS

    I have many hobbies other than music. These include mainly things that are in some way mechanical, I love taking machinery apart and either simply putting it back as before, or replacing a part that is worn out, or even using the parts on some other type of machinery. I also have great interest in flight. I get a real kick out of flying radio control airplanes, and I would someday like to be able to fly real airplanes. I really dig old airplanes from WWII, some of my favorite types are: the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, the Lockheed P-38 Lightning, the Messerschmitt Me-262, and the Douglas SBD Dauntless Dive Bomber. I like many other planes, possibly too many to list here.

    I have had many “exotic” pets over the last few years. I have had all sorts of things I’ve rescued from our cats, including a rat and a lizard. On April Fools Day, last year, our neighbor brought my family two baby raccoons. Those raccoons have been some of my very favorite pets. It was a really cool experience raising them from little babies. Now they live outside, and come to visit  us most nights. Other than the “raccys” I have just one cat right now.

    I enjoy the water quite a bit as well, I love to sail, and I like boats. I find most of the old style water vessels much more appealing, than most of the modern craft.
